Outpatient Services

Nevada Treatment Center provides comprehensive outpatient treatment modality for persons encountering a substance abuse problem.

The Path to Recovery consists of:
1. A variety of treatment approaches that guide the client toward solutions to problems evolving from the use of alcohol/drugs in their life; and,
2. Responsibility, dedication and commitment on the part of the client to make changes in his or her life.

INTAKE/ASSESSMENT
Clients should schedule an appointment for the intake process before admission by calling Nevada Treatment Center at (702) 382-4226 x248.

The client is assessed for the extent of substance abuse involvement that allows staff to determine the best therapeutic approach for treatment. Under certain circumstances, referral for other community services may be required to meet the total rehabilitative needs of the client.

Clients referred by the Criminal Justice System should inform the intake counselor of such to ensure adherence to reporting and service requirements.

THERAPEUTIC/RECOVERY PROCESS
Clients who are stable, willing to work toward recovery and not in need of medical detoxification may access this treatment modality. Services consist of individual, group, and didactic sessions including prevention, education, lifeskills,

The program is designed to assist the client with understanding substance abuse, the addiction process and the progressive patterns of a substance abuse problem as it affects the lifestyle and condition of the individual.

STAFFING
Nevada Treatment Center counselors are state certified or licensed professionals.

COUNSELING
Clients attend group and individual sessions based upon each individual's personal/clinical and legal needs. Group sessions are (1) hour in length.

Counseling Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Monday thru Friday
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Wednesday

Urinalysis monitoring is conducted on a random basis, as required, to determine therapeutic progress.
